Tessellation is fun, but tessellations have so much repetition. The basic shape, called a "tile", is drawn or painted over and over again. That can be booooOOOooooring!
One way to make the same "tile" shape lots of times, each time entirely perfect, is to use a rubber stamp. Each time you press the stamp on an ink pad and then onto paper, tadaaaaaa! you repeat the tile shape quickly and perfectly. Your only worries are a) do you have enough ink? and b) is each tile lined up right?
This part of www.Tessellations.org shows you how you can easily make your own rubber stamp.
