Teacher Barbara McCaskill says:
"As North Corbin Junior High School of Walker, Louisiana's
7th grade students learned about tessellations and transformations, their creative sides came out.
The students enjoyed identifying the differences in translations, reflections, and rotations and attempting to draw their own.
The students had fun creating their own tessellations, too." See that beautiful art in the gallery on this page. Click a tile to see the tessellation-- the tiling pattern-- that it makes. The students were able to let their imaginative side show and work cooperatively.
