Escher style Geometry Art from Leigh Davis's Elementary School class in Lubbock, Texas

first-time tessellation art by an elementary school student a first-time make-your-own-tessellation, face/head theme

by Paul B.

This is tessellation shows rotational (spin) symmetry.

I'm happy to say, my grandfather looks NOTHING LIKE this. Well... maybe a little. Especially the hair. He goes well with the crazy-hair granny on the previous page.

Paul's tessellation is well-drawn, but you can see how making each head... each "tile"'s... outline darker and thicker than the rest of the lines, we, the audience, could more easily see where one Tut begins and the others end. This is true for most tessellations.
