A Tessellation
by Alfred Meyers III

This tessellation of emaciated elephants has much to recommend it, but a flaw as well. The flaw first: Can you see the gap between each elephant's legs, and another gap between the trunk and forelegs? A tessellation must contain no gaps. It must fit together like a snugly snapped together jigsaw puzzle. A big positive is that this tessellation is a good example of Spin...that is, rotational symmetry.
