Tessellation Tutorial / Step 1

1. Tools. You will need:

  • Two sheets of A4 or B5 tracing paper,
  • One pencil,
  • One big eraser,
  • One colored pencil (any except black or white), and
  • one medium-thick felt-tip pen.
Optional: If you want, you can use:
  • One rectangle- or parallelogram-shaped object to trace around, or
  • One ruler and
  • One protractor.
