About Tessellations.org
- Tessellations.org was first opened on 30th October, 2003. See 'Latest' in the 'Information' menu for a list of, and links to, our newest site updates.
- The best resolution to view it in is 1024x768 pixels or higher. It will generally fit on an 800x600 screen, but scroll bars will appear on the largest pages.
Full color ("16 bit" or better) is essential to see the art as it was intended.
- The site is NOT designed for old browsers and use of the latest version of them is recommended.
Also, your browser's JavaScript must be turned on in order to navigate and see the site as it's intended to be seen.
- The site is coded mostly by hand with the assistance of 'HandyHTML' by SilverAge Software Inc.,
Open Source Software "RText", and 'Dreamweaver' from Macromedia.
The original author and designer of the site, David Annal, was a physician who lived in Mitcham, a southern suburb of London.
On May 6th, 2008, after a years-long battle with cancer, David passed away. David remained active on the website until the end of his time with us, creating
new art and adding to the website. His art, his friendship, and his generosity will be missed.
In December of 2005, Seth Bareiss joined as co-webmaster.
Seth has lived in 13 countries, collects adventure-related scars the way some people collect bumper stickers, and currently stumbles around Asia and the Pacific. He has variously made his living as a teacher, columnist, illustrator, web designer, submarine co-pilot (yes, really), computer nerd, and Japanese-English-German translator. He dreams of one day living in Australia where men are men, women are women, kangaroos are shareholders, kids named 'Joey' have an extra bounce in their step, and the Great Barrier Reef floats like a sparkling halo around the continent. See 'contact' in this menu if you feel the need to get in touch.

- Tessellations.org is hosted by Yoyo.org to whom we are deeply grateful yet scoldably uncommunicative on important Call-Your-Mother / Greeting Card Days like birthdays, anniversaries, Xmas, and Channukkchaghhh... Hannukunukuoioi... Chattanookkahchuuchuu... errrrmmm... the grand, noble, and ultimately unspellable holiday that sounds like 'Harmonica'. Don't make me reach for my dictionary; Shim and Clacquer's definitive "Totally Bogus Revised and Expandid Guide to Commonly Misspelt Werds" is the only thing keeping my desk from tilting crazily like tall sailboats in a typhoon.
